MATERIALS
RE49 shoes are made with different materials that are recovered, sanitized and tailored to our models. We do not use materials of animal origin and our production method is 100% carbon neutral. Inserts, laces, tags and packaging are also made with recycled materials. The special “Ideal” seam makes our shoes more resistant and flexible.
NOTHING IS WASTED. EVERYTHING CAN BE REUSED. YOU JUST NEED GOOD IDEAS AND LOVE.
BEACH UMBRELLAS
The Mare collection sneakers are made with recycled fabric of beach umbrellas. A robust, colorful material that evokes the scent of summer.
SAILS
Feel at your feet the magic of a sail that becomes a shoe. We recycle and repurpose sails that navigated across the waves of the Mediterranean Sea, to create shoes with dacron, a highly flexible and durable material
JEANS
Denim is a classic wardrobe essential, everyone loves it. however, to produce one single pair of jeas, 1500 liters of water are needed: definitely, not a sustainable fabric. For this reason, to prevent it from becoming a waste, we recycle denim with creativity, by converting it into durable, sustainable shoes, perfect for all ages and styles.
SPINNAKER
Spinnakers, the big balloon sails that are used for sailing off the wind, are used to create an exclusive shoe collection. Ultra-light, ultra-resistant, with a special wrinkled effect for which we have registered a production patent.
BEACH CHAIRS
The fabric of abandoned beach deckchairs is reborn into durable sneakers that, with their vibrant colors, will remind you of the energy of summertime.
FABRICS
We recycle cotton, fabric excess inventory and scraps into iconic and original shoes. Soft, comfortable, with a unique design.
TYRES
We recycle car tires and convert them into our shoe soles. A highly performing material, super resistant, to be worn instead of wasted and dumped into the environment.
